Shipping Policy

Incorporation

This Shipping Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Sale & Use by reference and forms part of your agreement with us. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in those Terms.

Processing and dispatch

Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM Pacific Time on a business day are dispatched the same business day. Orders confirmed after that time, or on a weekend or holiday, are dispatched the next business day. You receive tracking information on dispatch.

Dispatch times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Orders may be held pending payment clearance, eligibility review, or verification of order details.

Destinations

We ship to verified researchers and institutions within the United States, including all fifty states. We do not currently ship internationally. We may decline to ship to any address at our discretion, including freight forwarders and addresses we cannot verify.

Handling and storage

Materials ship as lyophilized powders in protective packaging. Shipments are not temperature-controlled and travel at ambient temperature. Lyophilized materials are stable for the duration of standard transit under normal conditions.

On receipt, store each material according to the storage conditions stated for that product. Proper storage after delivery is your responsibility.

Shipping rates

Shipping is free on orders of $25.00 or more.

For orders under $25.00 a shipping charge is calculated at checkout from the carrier's rate for your order, subject to a minimum charge of $5.00. The exact amount is displayed before you place your order.

Any duties, taxes, permits, or local requirements applicable to your location are your responsibility.

The optional Shipping Protection fee described below is charged separately and is not affected by the free-shipping threshold.

Title and risk of loss

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the Materials to the carrier. From that point the shipment is at your risk.

Shipping Protection (optional)

At checkout you may add Shipping Protection for a flat fee of $4.95 per order. Shipping Protection is optional, is never added automatically, and must be affirmatively selected by you. If you do not select it, your order ships without it and the terms under "Shipments without Shipping Protection" below apply.

Shipping Protection is not insurance. It is not underwritten by an insurer and it does not indemnify you against loss of your property. It is a contractual service purchased directly from Veffex Industries LLC that upgrades the remedy we provide to you, as the seller of the goods, if the shipment of your order is lost or damaged in transit while in the carrier's custody.

What Shipping Protection provides. If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged as a result of carrier handling, we will replace the affected items or refund the purchase price of those items, at our election, without requiring you to pursue the carrier and regardless of the outcome of any carrier claim. Report the issue within thirty (30) days of the carrier's estimated delivery date, with your order number and, for damage, photographs of the packaging and contents.

What Shipping Protection does not cover. Theft, loss, or damage occurring after the carrier records delivery, including packages taken from a doorstep, mailroom, or common area; shipments delayed, misdelivered, or returned because of an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address you provided; refusal of delivery; damage resulting from storage or handling after delivery; loss of experimental results or any consequential loss; or the Shipping Protection fee itself, which is non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.

Shipping Protection applies to the order it was purchased with, is not transferable, and does not carry over to a replacement order unless purchased again. Our total obligation under Shipping Protection will not exceed the purchase price of the affected items.

Shipments without Shipping Protection

Title and risk of loss pass to you on dispatch. If a shipment is lost in transit or arrives damaged and you did not purchase Shipping Protection, contact us within seven (7) days of the carrier's estimated delivery date with your order number and, for damage, photographs of the packaging and contents. We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf and pass through to you whatever the carrier pays.

We are not obligated to replace or refund an order shipped without Shipping Protection. Where we choose to do so, it is a discretionary accommodation made without admission of liability, does not alter the passage of risk of loss stated above, and does not create any obligation as to future shipments. Claims submitted after seven (7) days may be declined because carrier claim windows will have closed.

Delivery address accuracy

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for shipments that are delayed, misdelivered, returned, or lost because of an incorrect or incomplete address, an unattended delivery, or theft after delivery. Reshipment to a corrected address may require payment of additional shipping.

Research-use shipping

Shipments are made for laboratory research use only. We do not provide consumer or pharmacy fulfillment, and no shipment should be construed as the dispensing of a drug or medical product.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Any change applies prospectively from the effective date of the new version and governs orders placed on or after that date. We retain each prior version and will provide any prior version on request.
